Cyanvine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 191 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in fine, rough, gray bark, and inside, the very light wood is black with white speckles.
The small handful of branches are long, thin and wispy and are covered with very large amounts of soft, small, broad, flat leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are cyan on the sides and aquamarine at the center.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, cream seed pods.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
