Violet

This average-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its dark brown or sky blue stem is very thick and straight, and the giant, peach leaves are wispy with rounded edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

3 to 8 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 31 cm (12.2 inches) wide, with petals that are violet at the sides and caramel at the center. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 18 raised, narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has a strong scent that smells like a newborn baby, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
