Silver

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The wispy stem is silver or lime, and is covered in handfuls of flexible grey spines. The straight, bronze trunk can grow to as much as 2 feet (61.0 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its brown branches trail down across the ground and start growing three quarters of the way up the stem.

The sparse amounts of wavy-edged, asymmetrical leaves are found in lilac and cream varieties. They are light, and take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 6 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are bronze in the center, amber in the middle and azure at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. It has a faint scent that smells like fruity.

The caudiciform's skin is tough, the sky blue flesh is rough, and the sky blue sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It can survive a very long time without water.
