Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its orange stem is thin and straight, and the small, green leaves are light green or copper on the underside and are long, tapering with jagged edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are purple at the sides and silver at the center. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of 13 tightly layered, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has an intensely strong scent that smells like a man, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by insects , but only one species in particular.
