Clinging Puffgrass

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, blood red puff.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
