Moonshadow Bluebell
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 125 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has numerous very thick, straight stems covered in delicate, ridged, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is gray.
The branches are short and thick with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of tiny, very narrow and elongated, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are solid slate or amber, with hazel dots, sturdy and smooth.
In early spring it produces a thick sheet of small, cyan flowers with crescent-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a soft scent that smells like rich perfume.
