Mahogany-colored Coniferous Tree
Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)This large tree grows up to 77 meters (252.6 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2181 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, slanted trunk covered in cracked, dark green bark, and inside, the very light wood is mahogany-coloured.
The abundance of branches trail down towards the ground, with hundreds of twigs covered with sparse amounts of giant, yellow-green needles. The needles themselves are durable.
In late summer it produces medium-sized, grey, tough-shelled seeds.
The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
