It has a flexible, wonky trunk covered in smooth, silver bark, and inside, the flexible wood is yellow.
The thick clumps of branches are very long, thin and wispy and are covered with handfuls of soft, giant, wide leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are solid azure with magenta dots.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, grey berries.
The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
