Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This big, copper grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, turquoise tail.
During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
It is bio-luminescent.
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
It is suitable for making paper
The stems are covered in large spikes.
