Silver Skygrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows and flowers repeatedly for more than two years)This massive, silver grass grows up to 17 feet (5.2 meters) tall. The very thick stalks grow in sparse patches that are light and frail and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, sky blue tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
