Mirrortree

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows and flowers repeatedly for more than two years)

This average-sized fruit tree grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 41 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in thin, ridged, gray bark, and inside, the hard wood is yellow-brown.

The excessive amount of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with thick bunches of small, 4 pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are cream on the edges and purple at the center.

In early spring, it produces a handful of large, silver blossoms with asymmetrical petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a soft scent that smells like musk.

In early winter it produces large, perforated fruit. The fuzzy green skin is delicate and spicy and sour, and the crunchy brown flesh is bitter and juicy. The vibrant orange seeds are tiny and are dotted around on the skin of the fruit.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
