Velvet Shadowvine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This big creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 82 feet (25.0 meters) and growing as high as 133 feet (40.5 meters).

It takes 6 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 6 inches (15 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The asymmetrical, soft leaves reach up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) in length. They are solid black with pink dots, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a handful of average slate flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of small seed pods.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
