Aqua Hazelbell

Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its hazel and green stem is very thick, and the giant, hazel leaves are wispy with toothed edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Hundreds of small flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with magenta petals that gradient shift to aquamarine on the outer edge. The central disk is slate. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 21 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like a woman, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
