Aquamareed

This short, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in thick clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, aquamarine spikelet.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
