Silvergrass

This short, silver and yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in large clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, brown tail.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.
