Blood Red Grass

This modest-sized, lime and blood red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in small clumps that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, purple tuft.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
