Silverfern

This silver moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very resistant.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
