Silverfern

This silver moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is enormous, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very flimsy; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
