Pine-coloured Ivy

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 87 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has several sturdy, wonky stems covered in thick, cracked, pine-coloured bark, and the wood inside is brown.

The branches are long, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of huge, broad, flat, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally cream, strong and smooth.

It produces hundreds of small, white flowers with teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a soft scent that smells like a damp log. In midwinter it forms largecaramel aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
