Aquamarine Vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 198 feet (60.4 meters).

It takes 5 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The needle-like, soft leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are caramel with aquamarine tips, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many balls of tiny black flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.


It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It can absorb up to 11 times its own weight in water.
