Copperflower
Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its hazel or green stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the small, copper leaves are perforated with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
3 to 6 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide, with petals that are generally peach; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 34 curved petals. They detach easily.
It has a weak scent that smells like freshly washed clothes, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
