Moss Green Succulent
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This large cactus grows up to 101 feet (30.8 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 3 tapering stems. Each stem is moss green, and is covered in sharp spines.
It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with alternating petals of gold and magenta, with a peach central disk, grow at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. It has a strong scent that smells like musk.
The cactus's skin is thick, the blue flesh is slimy, and the slate sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
It comes in 11 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
