Bluebell
Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This huge flower grows up to 14.9 feet (4.5 meters) tall. Its green stems grow in bunches of 6 and are wispy with a curved tip, and the giant, sky blue leaves are broad, flat with wavy edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
5 to 7 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 64 cm (25.2 inches) wide, with solid blood red petals decorated with pink lines and a indigo central disk. The flower head is made up of 13 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. They fall easily.
It has the faintest scent that smells like freshly baked bread, and it has copious amounts of pollen, but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
