Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 40 feet (12.2 meters) and growing as high as 95 feet (29.0 meters).

It takes 5 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The slender, pointed, rough leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are solid copper or brown, with magenta patches, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thousands of small grey flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of small fruits.
