Violet Puffgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in small clumps that are light and frail.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, violet puff.
During the early summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
