Redheart

This colossal flower grows up to 15.9 feet (4.9 meters) tall. Its gray-green stems grow in bunches of 3 and are thin with a curved tip, and the small, moss green leaves are fan-like with toothed edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 113 cm (44.5 inches) wide, with solid washed-out red petals decorated with slate dots and a beige central disk. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 16 widely spaced, narrow petals. They detach easily.

It has the faintest scent that smells like petrol, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
