Silverleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This big leaf succulent grows up to 78 feet (23.8 meters) tall. The wispy stem is olive and slate, and is covered in dozens of fine, silver, hair-like spines. The rounded-edged, wispy leaves are generally intense green. Thick bunches of them grow from the base in no particular order. The leaves are strong, and detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are brilliant purple on the edges and turquoise at the center grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 32 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the grey flesh is soft, and the lilac sap is thin.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
