Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 19 feet (5.8 meters) and growing as high as 394 feet (120.1 meters).

It takes 5 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The spear shaped, clammy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are solid blood red or olive, with bronze lines, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thick bunches of average olive flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.
