Peachbell
Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its moss green stem is thick and straight with a curved tip, and the miniature, gray-green leaves are 5 pointed with tattered edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.
A single giant flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 18 cm (7.1 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of peach. The flower head is shaped like a tube with 53 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. They detach easily.
It has a delicate scent that smells like new books, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
