Blue Spikegrass

This average-sized, slate or sky blue grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, violet spikelet.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.
