Slate Moss

This slate and grey moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In damp forests, In rainforests, and In heathlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores.
