Blue Sky Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 330 feet (100.6 meters) and growing as high as 104 feet (31.7 meters).
It takes 3 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and woody.
The stiff, pointed, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are generally sky blue, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces a handful of giant sky blue flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of small seed pods.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
