Crimson Vine

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters)0.

It takes 3 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The very thick, rough leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are either bronze, or turquoise with hazel edges, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of large crimson flowers.
