Conifera Aquilonis

Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)

This colossal tree grows up to 141 meters (462.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 583 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in waxy, gray bark, and inside, the very dense wood is burgundy.

The small handful of branches are short stubs, with dozens of twigs covered with large amounts of miniature, emerald needles. The needles themselves are flimsy.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, slate berries.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.
