Aquaflame Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)This small tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 276 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a flexible, twisting trunk covered in paper-thin, cracked, burgundy and brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is brown.
The abundance of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with small bunches of rough, large, long, tapering leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are either turquoise, or azure with drab orange zig-zags.
In early spring, it produces clusters of tiny, brown blossoms with 4 pointed petals. They are sturdy and have the faintest scent that smells like warm cookies.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, white, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
