Blueberry Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized tree grows up to 31 meters (101.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 173 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a sturdy, curved trunk covered in hard, silky, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is light brown.
The sparse amount of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with very large amounts of smooth, tiny, asymmetrical leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are cream and peach.
In late summer it forms tiny, sky blue berries.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
