Silvervine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 32 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many long and flexible, wavy stems covered in thin, smooth, dark green bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches trail down towards the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of huge, wispy, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid washed-out green with washed-out green dots, delicate and covered in fine hairs.

In early summer it produces dozens of giant, gold flowers with oblong shaped petals. They are hardy and have a faint scent that smells like rotten meat.

Several parts of the fruit tree have medicinal properties.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
