Goldenvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 26 feet (7.9 meters)0.

It takes 4 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The long, tapering, rough leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are dark grey at the bottom and gold with yellow zig-zags at the top, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a thick sheet of large gentle yellow flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny seed pods.
