Copperbell

Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is very thin, and the large, gray-green and slate leaves are teardrop-shaped with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Each stem splits 2 to 6 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with slate petals on the lower layer and copper petals decorated with orange dots on the inner layer. The central disk is caramel. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. They fall easily.

It has the faintest scent that smells like burning wood, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to insects.

It is suitable for making strong rope
