Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This large, moss green grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The thin stalks grow in thin clumps that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, beige spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for making strong rope
