Orange Tuft Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This short, slate and pastel green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in sparse patches that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, bold orange tuft.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
