Bluebell

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This big flower grows up to 6.7 feet (2.0 meters) tall. Its gray-green stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the giant, yellow leaves are grey on the underside and are spear shaped with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 54 cm (21.3 inches) wide, with deep blue petals that gradient shift to white on the outer edge. The central disk is lime. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 55 curved petals. They fall easily.

It has a strong scent that smells like damp, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
