Amber Vine

This big creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 292 feet (89.0 meters) and growing as high as 12 feet (3.7 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 years for the gold and dark brown stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1.0 foot (30 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The very thin, waxy leaves reach up to 2.4 feet (74 cm) in length. They are solid amber with magenta streaks, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of large amber flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of small seed pods.
