Blue Vine Flower
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized flower grows up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) tall. Its green stem is very thin, and the tiny, gray-green leaves are dark brown on the underside and are finger-like with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.
Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 50 cm (19.7 inches) wide, with grey petals and a blue central disk. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of many widely spaced, round-tipped petals. They fall easily.
It has a weak scent that smells like soap, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
