Copper Starvine
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large flower grows up to 4.8 feet (1.4 meters) tall. Its gray-green stem is thin and straight, and the large, copper leaves are dark grey on the underside and are perforated with rounded edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Each stem splits 5 to 7 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 76 cm (29.9 inches) wide, with petals that are generally dark orange; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is shaped like a star made up of 5 raised, round-tipped petals. They are hardy.
It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like blood, and it has copious amounts of pollen, but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
