Redgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This massive, red grass grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The very thin stalks grow in large clumps that are durable.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, aquamarine tuft.
During the early summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and can be used to make numerous baked goods.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
