Yellow-Green Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This small cactus grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The perforated stem is yellow-green, and is covered in copious amounts of rigid black spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either beige or bright green, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. It has an intense scent that smells like an ocean breeze.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the pink flesh is rubbery, and the lilac sap is thin.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
