Burgundy Bine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 20 feet (6.1 meters) and growing as high as 810 feet (246.9 meters).

It takes 4 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The wispy, smooth leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are yellow on the sides and dull purple at the center, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of average light grey flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of very large fruits.

It is very delicate and is easy to kill.
It is suitable for making paper
