Creamfern

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This big tree grows up to 85 meters (278.9 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 647 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in fine, waxy, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale yellow.

The branches are short, thin and wispy and are covered with copious amounts of rough, large, very thick leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are cream on the sides and turquoise at the center.

In early spring, it produces lots of large, aquamarine blossoms with shield-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a mildly strong scent that smells like cherry.

In late summer it forms giant, bronze, shelled seeds.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
