Aquamarine
Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its green stem is thick, and the small, peach leaves are very thick with irregular edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.
A single tiny flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with aquamarine petals on the lower layer and silver petals decorated with white dots on the inner layer. The central disk is red. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cube. They are very delicate.
It has a faint scent that smells like lavender, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
The sap is edible and slightly savoury.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
